It has been quiet around here

Dallas Quilt Celebration with my grand niece.

It has been quiet on my website as I have been recuperating from an illness, enjoying Spring Break with my family, and meeting some quilt deadlines. (two down; two to go!)  I am starting to feel rested and ready to get back to writing.  

I had a blast seeing a quilt show through the eyes of one of my grand nieces.  What a delight to see a love for the art reflected in her eyes.  Maybe there will be more quilters in the family after all!

I also had a chance to travel to Colorado Bend State Park here in Texas.  A little over six miles of hiking for me that day with some of the lovely people in my life.  Sadly, no geocaches were found...
