This is the time of year it suddeny hits me that I need to start making those Christmas gifts.  Here are a few that I  think I will try this year.

These Braided Rag Rug Coasters by Julie Hirt look fun and easy to make.  (And will use up some of those scraps I have in a bin.)

Quilting Arts is offering a free e-book with six patterns.  This is the Jewelry Wrap.  I like the table runner they are offering too. You do have to join their website which is free and easy.  They are also offering a free issue of their magazine for you to try.

Another coaster.  This is Flossie Teacakes Bound Edge Drinks Coaster Tutorial.  Her tutorial is really worth a look, especially if you would like to learn how to do a self-bound edge on your quilts.

These Fabric Ornaments are being offered by Katrina's Tutorials. I thought these would look cute on packages and was able to whip one up in less than 30 minutes!

This last one has inspired me to look into pincushion patterns.  Hopefully next week I will have some to share with you.
