Today I thought I would share three of my favorite quilters with you. This quilt is Love You to the Moon and Back by Pat Sloan. I love Pat Sloan. She is a wonderful quilter, teacher, and blogger. She offers several free patterns on her website, inlcuding this one. I am sure will enjoy checking them out. And consider signing up for her blog or joining her forums- she is just so inspirational and encouraging to every single quilter on her site. Kim Diehl is another one of my go to designers. I love her blog as well, such a fun lady to listen to and be inspired by. She has a page on her site called Good Clean Fun where she shares free project patterns, recipes, tips, and her favorite quilt tools. I love Kim's style which is reflected in this photo. This is not one of her free projects, just a peak at the work she does and the way she displays her quilts. Another quilter who has had an influence on me is Alex Anderson. I have learned a lot from her in the past couple of years and even found a new love...redwork. For her free applique pattern The Grape Escape click here. For the free Redwork pattern from Alex for this pillow click here. I hope you enjoy visiting my Quilting "friends." If the links or downloads do not work please let me know. They worked for me when I tried them, but if at some point they are no longer available I would appreciate knowing so that I can keep this page up to date.
The question for today: Applique or piecing? Leave me a comment so I can get to know you better. Taking life one stitch at a time, Deb Comments are closed.
