I HAD planned to write a post on Friday to share how my week went. Well the internet was down as a storm blew through the area. Sadly, we did not get any of the snow although I could see it on the hills across from our house. While I cannot show you all of my accomplished goals from last week I can report that I did much better than I should have. I was just not very motivated last week to get things done, and yet I managed to check off the majority of things on my list. How did you do? What do you do when all you want to do is lose yourself in streaming video? Can you guess how productive Friday was, lol? I can show you the tote bag I finished. This bag was made following a youtube tutorial for the Olivia Quilted Patchwork Tote Bag by Yoan Sewing Studio, some 5 inch squares from a charm pack, and some fabric of my stash. I finally got brave enough to try an inset zipper pocket! Not bad for a first try. I also learned how to add a magnetic closure. It fit everything I needed to take to church with me on Sunday, which was quite a bit actually This weeks big goals:
1. Finish my quilt tops for the 2020 BOM which wraps up in December. 2. Get a good start on the 2021 BOM I have planned. 3. Work on finalizing some plans for our ladies Christmas Tea at church. 4. Put together Thanksgiving "baskets" for our neighbors. Now it's your turn. What do you hope to accomplish this week? 11/17/2020 11:11:18 am
Great tote! Good luck with your list this week. Looks like some interesting finish and goal setting. I love your BOM’s

Thanks, Carol. I am getting hooked on making bags now, lol. 11/17/2020 05:39:09 pm
Since I finished quilting the oldest UFO and the scrappy binding is ready to add, that will be my goal for this week. I would also like to get some of the this month's assignment for the Morewood Mystery Quilt completed.
