Today's post is not so much about quilting as about one of the major tools I use to stay on track with my goals and get things done. Last year I designed a daily planner that I shared with you all. This year I have tweaked it some with new publishing software and added a few new features that I am already enjoying using.
Each month begins with the Month overview
and goal page.
The weeks begin with a two page spread for laying out that week's goals
and then there are the daily pages with space for that days goals, a To-Do list to meet the goals, a schedule for the day, and even a way to keep track of the water you drink; which has really helped me to be more intentional in that area.
New this year is the Project Planning Sheet. As the number of projects I am working on is increasing and many of those things are joint endeavors with others I wanted all of that information in one place. And with the expense tracker I have a good record of just how much the project is costing. I also gave myself a place to write down my thoughts at the end of the project; things I might want to do differently in the future, things that worked well, things I never want to do again, lol.
Due to some health issues that came up this year I am having to be very conscious of the food I eat. This means I can no longer just pop out to grab a quick bite of fast food when I have not planned ahead for dinner or don't feel like making breakfast. Thus was born my Weekly Meal Plan pages. It's been an adjustment but this one little step of having a plan has kept me off of drugs that were having awful side effects. My food intake was an area I had become very undisciplined in and it took a pretty major wake up call to get me headed in a healthier direction.
The other change I made this year was to create two versions of my planner. Just like last year I added in some inspirational/motivational quotes throughout each month. Version 2 of my planner replaces those with some encouraging verses from the Bible. I also added a Prayer Journal page to this version. I have been journaling my prayers for many years but lately had gotten out of the habit. I like looking back over those journals and seeing how active God has been in my life and I hope these pages get me back in that rhythm.
Finally, the other bonus included this year are the pages for printing out dividers for the planner. I printed these out on card stock so they are a little sturdier. I may cover them with contact paper to add a little more protection from use.
This year I have decided that I really need to charge something for the planner. I am asking $8 dollars for these planners. I wrestled with this decision a good bit, but I have to be realistic. There are a lot of fairly major costs involved in bringing you the things that I do. I would like to be able to continue to do so and with that in mind I decided that the way forward for the planners was to begin asking that you help support me by paying for them. I love what I do! I love meeting with so many of you, even if for now it is limited to online. And I look forward to another year of quilting with you in 2021!!!

Hi, Debra. The planner looks amazing. To know which version I want, I need to know which Bible version the quotes are. Thank you!
