2019 31 Day blog Writing Challenge-Day 4

Yesterday I shared a list of things that I like to have in my quilt studio.  Today I want to share ideas for creative gifts you can make and give.  Many of these I have saved from Pinterest which is a whole other life.

I did a series of 3" Christmas ornaments last year and those patterns are available on my Free Patterns Page.  I made several of each and gave many away and they were all met with delight, though my original intent was to decorate the tree with more red and white ornaments.

Angel Ornaments.  I came across this tutorial just recently and am thankful for Google translate that translated the page for me.  These are just adorable and are on my list for this years gift giving.  I do love Pinterest which has several photos of these angels with various finishing touches.

Log Cabin Block Santas.  Using a basic quilt block to make these cute ornaments seems like a winner to me.

Christmas Tree Bunting.  Another Pinterest find that I fell in love with.   I could see using the individual trees to decorate a package too.

​Drawstring Bag.  I am all about reusable bags and this one is just darling.  Maybe a little much to use in place of wrapping paper, but as a special gift, I like it.  I may have to make one for myself as well.

Mason Jar Pincushion.  Who doesn't love a cute pincushion?  This is a quick easy gift to whip up for that special creative type on your list.

Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate Mix.  For those who like to indulge.

Sugar Cookie Mix Gift Sack.  Very nice tutorial on making these cute gift bags to share a sweet treat to bake.

Cookie Mix Gift Bag. And another cute idea for a bag to put some cookie mix in .  This one is complete with a recipe too.
