I have been so blessed with many and varied friends over the years. Each brings something unique to my life and I have treasured them all. Block 78 is called Friendship. There are a lot of ways one could go with this block but what came to mind for me was a song I learned way back in Sunday School. Jesus Loves the Little Children. So I went to it for inspiration as I picked out my fabrics, in particular the line: Red, brown, yellow, black and white; they are precious in His sight. I was not at all sure how these would go together. There is nothing in my color theory that says this works really, but I rather like the dramatic way it came out. This one goes together pretty easily, especially if you watch my pressing directions. To get a copy of this block click on the link below:

Oh, I LIKE the way it turned out! That's a great block and I remember that song, too. I love the picture of the children running in the park. Perfect.
