I snapped this photo with my phone on Christmas morning. Yes, we had a white Christmas and some visitors for breakfast. I hope you are having a merry Christmas season. I am glad I am taking my time with the Little Bo Peep quilt as it has been a very busy time for us. I sometimes think it is a wonder I have gotten any sewing done at all. This week we are making the pieced border strips for our quilt. Last week's tips on how to cut straight strips and how to measure for the correct length come in handy again. Once the lengths are cut the strips get joined together into four strip sets, two for the sides and then one each for the top and bottom of the quilt. We will only be attaching the side borders this week. I do pin these in place, matching the ends and then pinning in the middle and again halfway between the middle pin and each end. Next week we will be making those corner star blocks and I will also have a great giveaway for you at that time as well. If you are sewing along with me I would love to know so feel free to say hello in the comments. Also feel free to tell me how things are going with your quilt and if you have any questions that is a great place to ask them. Until next week...
Happy Quilting! Comments are closed.
